ELDE is about to log in to Binance Alpha, what are the expectations for the Kaia chain game ecosystem?

On the evening of May 26, Binance Wallet announced that the nineteenth TGE project is Elderglade (ELDE), with the event scheduled for May 27, 2025, from 16:00 to 18:00, requiring Alpha points to participate. An additional 16 million ELDE will be used for future events.
Sync, ELDE will also be launched on Bybit Megadrop.
Elderglade is a pixel retro-style MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) looting game and became one of the first games to launch on the Line Dapp Portal. It features classic RPG turn-based combat.
Elderglade is currently a PvP match-3 mobile game, which has quickly accumulated 3 million monthly active users, and according to official disclosure, the number of daily matches exceeds 4 million. Later, the Elderglade development team announced on social media that it would launch immersive AI-driven MMORPGs, such as AI-generated wilderness maps and AI agent NPCs with memories and personalities, making every adventure experience different and refusing to repeat monster farming. There is also a combination of the turn-based strategy of "Heroes of Might and Magic" and the loot mechanic of "Diablo", with the "Animal Hero" setting to create a differentiated experience; Finally, through Kaia Chain, NFT assets can be put on the chain, $ELDE tokens can be circulated, players can trade equipment, manage town buildings (such as taverns, blacksmith shops), and even earn passive income through "farm cards".
Elderglade claims to have more than 11 million mobile users, more than Axie Infinity, Pixels, and STEPN combined. As the leading chain game supported by Kaia's public chain, Elderglade has reached a wide range of East Asian (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan) and Southeast Asian markets with Line, with players from Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan accounting for more than 60%. At the same time, it claims to have a 20.5% conversion rate, which is 3 times higher than Candy Crush, AFK Arena, and Genshin Impact. $1 million to $2 million in monthly revenue, outpacing Star Atlas, Illuvium, and Off the Grid. Elderglade is developed by the W3Forge game development studio, which shows on its official website that it has more than 20 employees. Funding information has not been disclosed yet.
The studio released a Web3 racing game named Zkrace in 2021.
$ELDE is the native utility token of the Elderglade ecosystem. It supports gameplay, trading, NFT minting, staking rewards, asset upgrades, and more. Currently, in Elderglade's match-3 mobile game, players can use $ELDE to purchase boosters and energy refills, access premium quests and special events, compete for leaderboard rewards, and unlock time-limited bonuses. Monthly in-game trading revenue has reached between $300,000 and $500,000.
In response to the common issues of inflation and reward imbalance in the Play to earn model, Elderglade stated that it has adopted a relatively "closed-loop" economic model.

However, in reality, the fundamental dual-token economics of blockchain games, the "death spiral" problem, has not been truly solved.
As the head chain game on the Kaia public chain, Elderglade mainly relies on the traffic matrix of the Line platform, and the precursor of the "social giant + Play to earn" model is undoubtedly the Ton game ecology that has been popular for 24 years. Compared with Telegram's user base of nearly 1 billion and Ton's Mini Game's 20 million+ monthly active users, the Kaia ecosystem has not embarked on the road of accumulating users, but has learned from the experience of the "Tap to earn" mini game Spiral Death, focusing on expanding the gameplay. According to Elderglade's report, its users are predominantly moderate and heavy-duty gamers, with an average of 3 logins per day, a single 18-minute duration, and a conversion rate of 20%.
However, the market's narrative for Gamefi still hasn't escaped the logic of "gold farming drive." As the pioneer of retro style, MapleStory has also fallen into the quagmire of conflicting gold farming efficiency and user retention rate after its TGE on Binance Wallet. Can Elderglade fire the first shot for the Kaia chain? Or is it yet another scythe swing in the chain game?
